Something soulful and full of strings for you this evening.
Sam Fletcher's I'd Think It Over is lovely, a big jazzy orchestral swaggering piece of soulfulness to dance circles around the front room. It builds beautifully, rising up and up to a nicely dramatic chorus. It makes me want to wear a sharp suit, drink whisky on the rocks and smoke french cigarettes. Whilst wearing shades inside. At night-time.
Enjoy.

heh heh heh heh and so on so forth.
Just checked Mr H's comments. Hang my head in shame for posting a re-recording.
What you doing logged on at this time on a Friday night anyway?
Catching up on some tunes that I've not listened to yet, while the good lady has an early night. Drinking tea. Very rock n roll.
At least, I'm drinking gin. All my lot were asleep by half nine.
Trying to compile a cd for a mate's 40th this weekend, first of many.
Yeah, there's a few of those going on round these parts too. I kind of feel like I should be going mad going for it, but a cuppa on the sofa is pretty good most nights.
Having said that it's my cousin's 50th tomorrow night. And he likes a drink or three. I may be writing with a decent hangover on Sunday...
Oh, you're so right about the making a person want to wear a sharp suit, sip whisky and club soda, etc. It's living it up in Vegas circa 1965 isn't it? Meet me at The Desert Inn and we'll shoot some craps, pally.
It needs to be at least another 3 minutes longer!
That's it exactly. Blue Note and Rat Pack and all.
Back to say I have played this a number of times today and, boy, I just love it. Gotta go now, the limo's waitin'; I'm meetin' Sam for martinis at The Pink Flamingo x
Word verif - 'hedefust' - the only way to approach life pally.
it's these mad huge explosions that are my favourite bits of northenness all epic and throw your arms out wide . bloomin marvelous
